Having a good supply of homemade frozen meals can help you manage your food budget, avoid those expensive and often unhealthy takeaway meals and gives you a break on those busy afternoons when you have no time to cook. You can read more about why we are doing this challenge here.
Next week we will be prepping for our first One Handed Cooks ‘Fill Your Freezer Challenge’ and through the newsletter you will be given access to all our printables, ingredients lists, freezer guides and recipes to help you through. We have chosen healthy meal and snack options to maximise both variety and nutrition. So, if you decide to join in on the fun you freezer will be full with:
- 2 x nutritious family meals
- 1 x baby puree/textured meal
- 1 x baby/toddler finger food
- 1 x healthy sweet snack
- 1 x breakfast cereal for the pantry (optional day)
- 1 x stock (optional day)
(Although, you can modify the meals and snacks to suit you and your family of course.)
